*Smart Board Blog*

As years go by, technology keeps getting more and more advanced. More scientists everyday experiment for new technology and come out with new inventions. Lately, there has been a new creation called the smart board. It was invented in 1991, and at that time it was the first interactive white board in the world. This board is like a projection screen with a computer projected onto it. However, it is also a touch screen. In simple words, it is an interactive white board. It is sensitive to touch and can do many things. For example, you can control it directly from your computer/laptop or from the board itself. Your hand and or fingers are the mouse usually used on a computer. There are many learning ways when it comes to the smart board. For instance, you can draw/write, erase, drag, and even play games. This board has many features very useful towards learning. It makes learning fun and easy. First came the smart board, now what will science come out with next.

Over many years during Halloween, children have been getting an abundance amount of candy. Candy is leading kids and adults to obesity. Some families feel to give toys, play dough, etc during Halloween instead of candy. With that, families have started to buy out their child's candy. Other families choose to give their children toys. The amount of candy given away determined the size of the toy gotten. Not a lot of candy means a small toy, but a large amount of candy means a bigger size toy. However, most families (children) eat the candy received on Halloween, like tradition. Candy is known to be unhealthy and full of sugar, but many say a little sugar now and then won't hurt anybody. On the other hand, eating candy and sugary unhealthy foods can lead to an addiction for some children and even adults. This addiction can and will most likely lead to obesity. Most families that give away toys, buy their kids candy, or give toys in replacement of candy feel that if they did not do this, their kids would have a free-for-all and maybe become obese. In the end, out of all families in the world, some do think it is better to make it so their family has less candy during Halloween time, and some (most), let their kids eat the candy they earned for this one night, and don't find it a big deal for their children to have a little candy/sugar/unhealthy food every once in a while.
